The Committee

SASC is headed up by its three Directors who have lived and breathed Scottish skiing all their lives. Each year we recruit some additional helpers to organise and deliver our training and events.

Calum Shepherd

Co-Founder & Director
Chief of Championships

Calum is a former university snowsports club President and FIS ski racer, now a British alpine Head Coach for Scottish Ski Club, and oversees the student championships. Calum delivers most of the coaching at SASC training sessions, and is also a software developer.

Jemma Clarke

Co-Founder & Director
Chief of Race

Jemma also was a FIS ski racer for several years as part of the Scottish team, and a university snowsports President. She now lives in London working in financial advisory, but loves race coaching and escaping to the mountains whenever she gets the chance. Jemma is also an accomplished musician.

Blair Fraser

Co-Founder & Director
Chief of Freestyle

Although he has a background in alpine racing, Blair oozes freestyle sports, and is a former British wakeboarding team member. Currently he is a U14 coach for Team Evolution race academy, and manages to find the time in his season to run the freestyle aspects of SASC.
